Appointments

baby_nurseConsultations are by appointment only and may be booked either in person or by telephone. A separate appointment is required for each patient.

A GP appointment is 10 minutes long  and we aim to see patients within 2 working days, although to see the doctor of your choice you may need to book further in advance. Nurse appointments are 15 minutes long and we aim to see you within 4 working days.

If  you are unable to attend  even at short notice please let us know so that someone else can benefit from the appointment and to avoid your records being marked as ‘did not attend’.

Please Note: the surgery will be closed on the first Thursday of each month (excluding August and December) for staff training. Telephone calls will automatically be transferred to the out of hours

Enquiries

Acute medical concerns will be triaged and acted upon by the on call GP. However in a life threatening situation always dial 999.

Requests for telephone calls

If you need to speak to a Doctor or Nurse by telephone please ask the Receptionist to take your details .  A “telephone appointment” space will be allocated to you at the end of the GP’s surgery or the Nurse’s Clinic.  The Doctor or Nurse will  endeavour to contact you as soon as possible during the day.
