General Information

Patient consultations are provided in a number of ways to meet the needs of the individual, this can be via telephone, video call or face to face appointments with a clinican.

In the first instance, we ask that you contact the Surgery by completing an eConsult online. You will be able to tell us in your own time and words about your medical concerns in a confidential setting, and by answering targeted questions, a clinician can quickly ensure that you are reviewed by the most appropriate health care professional in a timely manner. We are also happy for you to contact the Surgery by phone or by calling in at the front desk to arrange a telephone triage appointment with one of our clinicians.

We have a range of clinicians available dependant on your need. Our patient services staff will ask you a few questions to enable them to signpost you to the most appropriate clinician or service, please do not be offended by this all information is treated in the strictest confidence.

When you receive a phone call from the appropriate clinician they will organise a face to face or video consultaion at a time to suit you if they cannot deal with the issue over the phone. We can also offer a pre-bookable phone consultations for a named clinician to help working people.

We continue to offer pre bookable face to face appointments for Practice Nurse and Phlebotomy services which can be organisged by contacting reception.

Please Note: The surgery will be closed on one afternoon each month for staff training. Telephone calls will automatically be transferred to the out of hours.
